Recent Activitites

  • Mani Thungur (10 crore Mani Jap) organized yearly during the period of Dashain and this is the 14th Mani Thyungyur programme . We team of 24 members had an audience with His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama after this 14th Mani Thungyur programme during last November. The upcoming mani Thumgyur is the 15th Mani Thungyur programme.
  • Mani Thyungur fund established in remote villages in 2 districts to initiate Mani Programs therein 2016.
  • Gelbusange Gumba at Thenasa-3 , Sindhupalchok and Samteling BekhumGumba , Bigu-8, Dolakha
  • This year we are planning to support to monastery in Villages, Bigu-5, Chilankha-3  Bulukpa, Dolakha, and Daduwa-7 Sailung, Raamechap to initiate Mani chanting.
  • Blood donation program organized annually during the Saga Dawa Period .Recently, we conducted the 15th Blood donation Programme and we are preparing our 16th Blood donation Program this year.
  • 24 hour Ambulance service available for the community. The ambulance has been reconditioned and is at full fledged service.
  • We organized our 1stTsetar program from this year and contributed to Tsatrul Rimpoche. This year we are planning to send Tsetar (fish) to Trishuli River joining hands with friends from Rasuwa.
  • Financial support for Kidney patients, and people stricken by flood , fire and earthquake.
  • Published Daily Puja Bidhi Dharmic book as per teaching of H.E. Drukpa Rimpochhe Ngawang Khenrab  in Nepali language so that the newer generation of various Buddhist communities could get access to Dharma teachings .
  • Distributed Dharma Book  (Buddha ko Amrit Bachan) written by Geshe Lobsang Dawa and drinking water  during Buddha Jayanti .

Future Plans

  • Coordinate with other Himalayan communities such as Dolpo, Mustang, Nubri, Mananges, and other Buddhist communities such as Hyolmos, Tamangs, Gurungs and Magars to learn, preserve and promote Buddhism.

  • Work on integrating dharma activities to the youths in their daily life and coordinate with other organizations. Buddha Dharma is a scientific philosophy and can be tested in life for becoming a better person and contribute it to the society, nation and the world.
  • Working in a middle way approach of being active in Dharma activities and getting involved in the society and extending service.
  • Organizing Buddhist teachings in a smaller to larger scale.
  • Finding ways to promote Buddhism in Television programs
  • Finding ways to promote Buddhism, in comics, books,  online materials, Animation cartoon for children.
